Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how ClaroWise ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information about you when you visit our website, complete our coach survey, or otherwise engage with us during our pre-launch stage. We take your privacy seriously and only collect what we genuinely need to operate.
1. Who we are
ClaroWise is a pre-launch platform being built to help people seeking life coaching connect with coaches who genuinely fit their goals and preferences. During this pre-launch stage, our primary activity is recruiting founding life coaches and gathering feedback that helps us shape the platform.
For any privacy-related questions, you can contact us at team@clarowise.com.
2. Information we collect
We only collect information that helps us operate the website, evaluate founding coach applications, and communicate with people who reach out to us. Specifically, we may collect:
- Information you provide directly — including your name, email address, professional background, coaching specialities, and any other details you share with us through our coach survey, by email, or in conversations with our team.
- Information collected automatically — including basic technical information such as your device type, browser, approximate location (based on IP), pages visited, and time spent on the site. This is collected through standard website analytics tools.
- Information from third-party tools — when you complete our coach survey via Google Forms, your responses are processed by Google on our behalf. We then receive that information from Google.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Review and evaluate coach survey submissions for the Founding Coach Programme
- Contact applicants about the programme and arrange follow-up conversations
- Send pre-launch updates to people who have asked to be kept informed
- Improve the website, our communication, and how we explain ClaroWise
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Legal basis for processing
If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on the following legal bases for processing your information:
- Consent — when you complete the coach survey or otherwise voluntarily share your details
- Legitimate interests — for operating the website, understanding how it is used, and developing the platform responsibly
- Legal obligation — where we are required by law to retain or disclose certain information
5. How long we keep your information
We keep your information only for as long as we genuinely need it. Coach survey responses and related correspondence are retained for the duration of the pre-launch phase and a reasonable period afterward, so we can follow up on applications, evaluate the programme, and contact founding coaches once we are ready to onboard them.
If you would like us to delete your information sooner, please email team@clarowise.com.
6. Sharing your information
We share your information only with trusted service providers who help us operate the website and communicate with you, such as:
- Google (for the coach survey)
- Email and messaging providers
- Website hosting and analytics providers
These providers are bound by their own privacy obligations and may only process your information on our behalf. We may also disclose information where required by law, regulation, or legal process.
7. International transfers
Some of the service providers we use may be based outside the UK or the European Economic Area. Where this is the case, we take steps to ensure your information is protected by appropriate safeguards, in line with applicable data protection law.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights in relation to your personal information, including the right to:
- Access the information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Object to certain types of processing
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (in the UK, this is the Information Commissioner's Office)
To exercise any of these rights, please email team@clarowise.com and we will respond as soon as we reasonably can.
9. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, using appropriate organisational and technical measures. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have any concerns about how your information is being protected, please get in touch.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as ClaroWise evolves. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you directly.
11. Contact
For questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your information, please contact team@clarowise.com.
